Study Support Service

What we offer

We offer a Study Support Service that aims to facilitate the development, set-up and delivery of clinical research studies in the NHS within the North Thames network.

Our central Study Support Service team also support researchers and study sponsors by providing links to key opinion leaders and experts within the field of clinical research.

Early contact and engagement

We provide support and advice to help investigators and their study teams understand how we can support them to initiate, set up and deliver their study to time & target.

Early feedback

We provide comprehensive and efficient early feedback on initial study synopses.

Site identification

We use local knowledge to facilitate the identification of potential research sites.

Optimising delivery

We use local expertise and data insight to provide additional information to sponsors, assisting and supporting their own feasibility assessments.

Effective study set up

We work with you to ensure all study sites are set up as rapidly as possible.

Performance monitoring

We work with study teams to produce a performance monitoring plan, helping to ensure studies meets time lines and patient recruitment targets.
