The NIHR Clinical Research Network is the clinical research delivery arm of the NHS. We operate nationally across England through a national coordinating centre and 15 local branches delivering research in the NHS across all disease areas.
In the Clinical Research Network Kent, Surrey and Sussex we work with hospital Trusts (acute, community and mental health) GP surgeries, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers across Kent, Surrey and Sussex to support the setup and timely delivery of commercial and non-commercial studies in the NHS in the region. We provide advice on study feasibility, streamlined NHS permissions and effective patient recruitment. The NIHR CRN: Kent, Surrey and Sussex is hosted by Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
We have offices in Canterbury, Kent and at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, at the University of Brighton in Falmer.
