Together with Health Education East Midlands, we welcome you to clinical research early in your career.
Good Clinical Practice Training
Before you can get involved in supporting the delivery of clinical research, you will need to undertake Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Training.
GCP is the international ethical, scientific and practical standard to which all clinical research is conducted. Compliance with GCP provides public assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of research participants are protected and that research data is reliable.
We offer a range of high quality GCP training courses that are open to everyone. We are also currently piloting a scheme to support Trainees to get involved in clinical research across the East Midlands and offer GCP training specifically for Trainees. During these sessions we link interested Trainees with Principal Investigators already delivering clinical research within your clinical specialty and organisation. If you would be interested in attending one of these sessions please contact michele.eve@nihr.ac.uk
Please take a look at the FAQ's for more information about GCP Training.
